A Sideboard That Earns Its Keep in More Than One Room

Buying a piece of furniture tied to a single specific room often means it sits unused if your home layout or needs ever change. The Astbury 3 Rattan Door Natural Sideboard takes a deliberately different approach, built to genuinely pull its weight across multiple spaces throughout a home.

A genuinely versatile placement, by design

The sideboard is specifically built to work well in a dining room, hallway, or living room — rather than being designed with just one room in mind, giving it real flexibility if a home's layout or storage needs change over time.

Three rattan door fronts as the defining design element

Rather than plain, flat panel doors, the sideboard features three rattan door fronts that conceal the storage behind them — a decorative design choice that adds genuine textural and visual interest compared to a standard solid-colour cabinet.

Two internal shelves for organised, concealed storage

Behind the rattan doors, two internal shelves provide genuine organised storage space — letting items be kept out of sight while remaining easily accessible, rather than relying purely on open shelving that leaves everything on display.

A generously wide top surface for display

At 120cm wide, the top surface offers considerable room for a lamp, plants, or a decorative display — giving the piece a genuine dual function as both storage and a surface for styling a room.

Solid wood legs for a considered structural detail

Rather than using the same engineered material throughout, the sideboard combines high-quality PB construction with solid wooden legs — a material choice that adds genuine structural character to the base of the piece.

Part of a genuinely coordinated furniture range

The sideboard is specifically part of Big Furniture Warehouse's best-selling Astbury range, which includes a matching chest of drawers, bedside table, dressing table, storage cabinet, shoe cabinet, and coffee table — letting buyers build out a fully coordinated room with the same rattan detailing and natural finish across multiple pieces.

A natural finish for genuine styling versatility

The sideboard's natural finish is specifically chosen to complement a wide range of existing interior styles — reflecting the broader rattan and natural-material aesthetic currently popular across contemporary home design.

An honest, practical assembly note

It's worth being direct: the sideboard arrives flat-packed and requires customer assembly — a detail worth planning for in terms of time and basic tools needed, rather than assuming it arrives fully built and ready to place.
