ECO-WORTHY Germany: 50Ah, 100Ah and EnergyRock 314Ah Batteries Compared

ECO-WORTHY's German range includes several nominal 12 V LiFePO4 batteries, but capacity, current limits, enclosure and sales condition differ sharply. The 50Ah Bluetooth model is a compact 640Wh battery, the listed 100Ah refurbished model is 1,280Wh, and EnergyRock 314Ah is a metal-cased 4,019Wh unit with a 200A battery-management system.

50Ah: compact capacity and XT60 connection

The 12.8 V 50Ah model is specified at 640Wh, with 50A maximum charge and discharge current. ECO-WORTHY lists dimensions of 232 × 135 × 181 mm and a weight of 5.74 kg. It includes Bluetooth monitoring and under-temperature protection, and the title identifies an XT60 connection.

This is the easiest of the three to move and fit into a small installation. The 50A limit, however, constrains inverter size and other high-current loads. A theoretical 640Wh figure is not the same as usable AC energy after inverter losses and reserve settings.

The 100Ah listing doubles nominal energy

The 100Ah model is specified at 12.8 V and 1,280Wh, with 100A maximum charge/discharge current. Its listed dimensions are 260 × 168 × 214 mm and weight 10.5 kg. The reviewed title explicitly says refurbished and original-packaged, so condition is part of the product identity and should not be omitted when comparing it with a new battery.

A 100A limit can support a larger DC load than the 50Ah model, but cable gauge, fuse, terminals and inverter efficiency still govern a safe system. Confirm warranty and refurbishment terms for this exact listing rather than assuming they match new stock.

EnergyRock 314Ah is a much larger installation battery

EnergyRock is rated at 314Ah and 4,019Wh. Its metal enclosure contains a 200A BMS; the page names protections for overcurrent, overvoltage, overheating, short circuit and low temperature, plus Bluetooth app monitoring. This capacity and current rating target RV and off-grid storage rather than a light portable box.

At 200A, installation quality becomes critical. The BMS limit is not a recommendation to run continuously at that current, and it does not replace correctly sized overcurrent protection close to the battery. The connected inverter, busbars, isolator and cables must be designed as a system.

Capacity is only one design input

Select the battery after calculating daily watt-hours, peak and continuous current, charging source and acceptable reserve. Verify whether series or parallel connection is allowed for the exact model and firmware; do not transfer an expansion claim from EnergyRock to smaller products.

Temperature protection also needs careful reading. A low-temperature charging cutoff protects cells, but it does not necessarily heat them or make charging possible below freezing. Confirm whether the model has a heater, cutoff only, or neither.

The 50Ah model fits modest loads and constrained spaces. The refurbished 100Ah listing provides twice the nominal energy and 100A current capability where its condition terms are acceptable. EnergyRock suits a substantially larger fixed system needing roughly 4kWh and a 200A BMS.

These are DC components, not plug-and-play household backup systems. Qualified design may be necessary. Prices and stock are omitted because the electrical comparison does not depend on a temporary offer.
