A Wagon Built for Luggage, Not Just Passengers

Many rental SUVs prioritise passenger space while treating boot capacity as an afterthought. East Coast Car Rentals' Full Size Wagon — the Skoda Octavia — takes the opposite approach, specifically built around genuinely generous luggage capacity alongside comfortable passenger space.

A genuinely spacious boot for real luggage needs

The Octavia offers 2 small bags and 3 large bags of capacity — a notably generous luggage allowance that distinguishes a proper wagon body style from a standard sedan with more limited boot space.

A quiet, smooth ride for genuine comfort

The vehicle is specifically designed to deliver a smooth, quiet ride — a practical detail that matters directly for longer road trips where cabin noise and ride comfort compound over hours of driving.

Fuel-efficient without sacrificing power

Despite its practical size, the Octavia maintains impressive fuel efficiency at 6.1 L/100km — letting renters cover more distance per tank without needing to compromise on comfort or cargo space.

Genuine modern connectivity included

The Octavia includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto — letting renters access their own phone's navigation and music seamlessly throughout the rental period, rather than relying on an unfamiliar built-in system.

Advanced safety features built in

The vehicle includes adaptive cruise control among its safety suite — a genuinely advanced driver assistance feature that reduces fatigue on longer stretches of highway driving.

An automatic transmission for easy handling

The Octavia uses an automatic transmission specifically chosen for easy handling — removing any need for renters to manage manual gear changes while navigating unfamiliar roads.

Suited to both business and leisure use cases

East Coast Car Rentals specifically positions the Octavia as ideal for both business trips and family getaways — a genuinely versatile vehicle rather than one narrowly suited to a single type of trip.

Part of a broader, varied East Coast fleet

The Full Size Wagon sits alongside other options like the Family SUV, Full Size SUV, and Full Size Elite EV within East Coast's broader fleet — letting renters compare body styles if a wagon isn't quite the right fit for their specific trip.

At a glance

Who it suits

This wagon suits travellers needing genuinely generous luggage space alongside comfortable passenger seating, particularly families on road trips or business travellers carrying considerable equipment. Anyone specifically wanting an electric alternative with similar passenger capacity should consider the Full Size Elite EV (Polestar 2) instead, which offers a comparable 5-passenger layout with a fully electric drivetrain.
